At The Sensor Connection, we take performance and reliability seriously offering only high quality industrial grade products for the racing and industrial applications.
Established in 2006 by two sensor "geeks", both raised in family businesses servicing the automotive and industrial testing and manufacturing industries. Our office is located in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, USA. About 10 miles north of the city line (8 Mile Road).
We are a company with proven experience and value-added services. We have technically trained staff to help you select the temperature, position tilt and pressure sensors for your application. We specialize in custom and industry specific EGT thermocouples, Temperature, Position, Tilt, and pressure sensors for racing, R&D, Test labs, Industrial, OEM and special processes in manufacturing. Our product line includes Exhaust Gas Thermocouples (EGT) Probes, Thermocouples, Position Sensors, Rotation Sensors, Tilt Sensors, Pressure sensors and switches. We cater to the special industrial market place. In addition to our standard products, we can also custom design and build sensors from our various manufacturers or from in-house capabilities to your needs and specifications.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
Returning EGT probes, CHT sensors, Thermocouples, or Pyrometers:
You can return any new or unused item within 30 days of the date your item was shipped and we will replace or refund the full purchase price less shipping. We cannot accept returns on custom ordered items. Sorry, we can not accept used products unless returned for replacement under warranty.
Returning Macro Sensors brand LVDT and RVDT transducers or electronics:
This paragraph only applies to the Macro Sensors brand LVDT and RVDT transducers or electronics. You can return any new or unused item within 30 days of the date your item was shipped. There is a restocking charge associated with return of these items. The standard restocking charge is $25 or 25% of list price, whichever is greater. We cannot accept returns on custom ordered items. Sorry, we can not accept used products unless returned for replacement under warranty.
Please contact us before you return an unused product. The Sensor Connection will provide an Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Please mark the corresponding RMA number as clearly as possible on the outside of all the boxes being returned. This will help us process your return in a timely manner. If you are shipping your return to us, we strongly suggest that you use traceable United Parcel Ground Service from your nearest staffed UPS facility. All returns must be sent prepaid-no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss.
Please note that The Sensor Connection can accept, for exchange or return, only items which were purchased directly from The Sensor Connection within the last 30 days and are in new resalable condition.
Limited Warranty
Most parts are warranted by the The Sensor Connection or our manufacturers. Temperature sensors usually from 30 days from date of purchase, electronics usually for 90 days from the date of purchase, unless specified otherwise. All products are warranted against manufacturers' defects and workmanship only. All products are not warranted for wear or breakage under any circumstance.
What Voids the Warranty?
After inspection, any part which, in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions, and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse any exceptions.
What’s not covered: (1) normal wear and tear (2) accident, disaster or event of force majeure (3) abuse, neglect, misuse, fault or negligence of or by Buyer (4) use of the Products in a manner for which they were not designed (5) causes external to the Products such as, but not limited to, power failure or electrical power surges (6) improper storage and handling of the Products (7) use of the Products in combination with equipment or software not supplied by Seller (8) ordinary maintenance (9) alterations, repairs or installations that have not been performed by Seller or its authorized representative (10) failure to maintain Products in accordance with Seller’s written instructions.
How warranty service is obtained:
Warranty service may be obtained by contacting The Sensor Connection. Please provide unit type or part number, serial number(s) and or date code(s) along with the description of the problem(s) being experienced. In the event that the unit(s) or product(s) must be returned for evaluation and/or repair or replacement. The Sensor Connection will provide an Return Material Authorization (RMA) number along with return address and instructions on how to return. In the event that the unit(s) or product(s) are returned and are determined to have no defect, or if any misuse, misapplication, abuse, accident, non-The Sensor Connection alteration, modification, upgrade or improper return shipping, packaging or shipping damage have taken place, The Sensor Connection reserves the right to apply an Evaluation Charge per unit which will be billed to the customer.
Repair or replacement is your only warranty
Your only remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of unit(s) or product(s) as described above. The Sensor Connection will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use unit(s) or product(s) supplied. The Sensor Connection expressly disclaims any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and no other warranty is specified or implied. APO / FPO Shipping:
We ship to APO or FPO military addresses. All APO/FPO orders will be shipped via Standard Shipping anywhere in the U.S. without minimum purchase. Express Shipping options are currently not available for APO/FPO addresses. Please include in your APO or FPO shipping information:

Unit and Unit number, Consolidated Mail Room Number, PSC Number, or Ship.

Shipping to an address different from your billing address:
If you choose to ship to an address different from your credit card billing address, we may contact you to confirm your shipping and billing addresses to prevent possible fraudulent use of your credit card.
Undelivered Package:
If the address you provided us is undeliverable, we may contact you to verify your address for reshipment. However, you are responsible for the shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package for both the original and the re-delivered shipment.
Sales Tax and Duty
Customer is responsible for all applicable import duty and local tax. Please verify with your customs before making purchase.
Tracking an order
Tracking your order is fast, easy and can be done online. Tracking information will be available once your order has been shipped. To track an order, visit the appropriate shippers web site and input tracking codes.
Most items stocked for fast delivery to ship within 24 hours.
Non-stocked or back ordered items usually ship within 2 to 3 weeks ARO.
