Brand Name: The Sensor Connection The Muffler Clamp EGT probe is designed for EGT applications that require mounting without a weld bung and compression fitting. The Muffler Clamp EGT probe is 0.187 diameter (4.75 mm) and includes an adjustable metal clamp mounting strap. The EGT probe cable lead length is 6 feet (2 meters). The probe has a 2.5" straight sheath to accommodate tight mounting locations. Applications: The Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGT Probe) is specifically designed for use in racing, tuning, and testing applications. Our probes are made in the USA from superior materials, designed to withstand rugged racing conditions. The Exposed Tip sensing junction provides immediate response to dynamic temperature changes. Drill hole in header. Insert the EGT probe through the drilled hole and tighten the Muffler Clamp. The EGT probe can be inserted to the required depth and secured by locking the supplied compression fitting. The probe cable is over-braided in stainless steel for heavy-duty abrasion resistance.
