Topic:  How to Fine Tune the PMD1XT Digital Indicator Temperature Offset

Once the indicator is powered on we are ready to begin the procedure.
Notice that the actual liquid temperature is 70 degrees but the indicator is displaying 76 degrees.
This offset can be corrected using the indicator’s Fine Tuning Offset feature
Begin by pressing the SET key once (x1)
Next, using the up & right arrow keys, enter the programming code 0089
Once the code is in the display then press the SET key
The indicator is now in the programming mode
Continue by pressing the up arrow key four times (4x)
The display will read “PSb”
Press the set key once (1x) to enter in the offset value.
Since the actual liquid temperature is 70 degrees & the indicator displays 76 degrees, enter an offset of minus -6 degrees.
Press the up & right arrow keys until minus -006 is in the display, the negative sign is found by incrementing the leftmost digit to the negative sign.
Once the necessary Offset value is in the display press the SET key once to save the value in the microprocessor’s memory.
Press the UP arrow four times (4x) until END is in the display window.  Then press the SET key once to exit the programming mode.
The indicator’s display now precisely matches the actual liquid temperature.
